This is a new topic i want to post. And this is very helpful to those who have accounts in a free blog sites such as blogger.com, wordpress.com or even in multiply.com. So what’s about it? You got many visitors and you are the talk in the web. Of course many will ask, “Where is this Mygreatblog hosted?” In the end they’ll search you in google with the following keywords “mygreatblog” (note: mygreatblog is only my sample keyword/title to a blog). Then google will give you a list where your mygreatblog is hosted. It’ll come with the following sample:

http://mygreatblog.blogger.com , http://mygreatblog.wordpress.com , http://mygreatblog.multiply.com

If you will read your link carefully, it shows that your mygreatblog is hosted as a subdomain to a free blogsite. Now, you’ll be thinking you want your own title as a domain like http://mygreatblog.com. It is good right? More like you have your own private domain. Now here’ the step how you’ll do it. First, you have to register your domain, for example like mygreatblog.com. You can’t use your domain unless it is registered. Second, get a cheapest hosting package, linux cpanel is ok. Third, point your domain to your hosting account (you can skip the third part if you have purchased domain and hosting to the same provider, they’ll automatic point your domain to your hosting account). Fourth, access your cpanel. Delete any existing index.php or index.html inside your filemanager, usually under “www” folder. Then back to cpanel home. Fifth,  under the “Domain” section click redirects. Change the “All public domain” to your own domain mygreatblog.com. On “redirects to”, put the link where you want your domain to redirect. For example you want it to redirect to http://www.mygreatblog.wordpress.com , be sure to select the option “Redirect with or without www.”, then add. Now if you will type your domain to your browser address bar, http://mygreatblog.com , it will redirect you to http://www.mygreatblog.wordpress.com. Still! The link you want to hide shows mygreatblog.wordpress.com! That’s ok, we’re not finish yet. Back to your cpanel , inside the file manager, create an index.html under “www” folder. Follow/copy the script below.

Be sure index.html is inside the www folder of your web directory. Save the script, then back to home of your cpanel. Back to redirection, and remove the redirection you have created. Repeat steps number 5, but after you have selected your domain, you have to indicate index.html after the slash(/). Add the link where to direct then hit add. Now it needs time propagate, usually after 20 to 30 minutes. Then visit your site by mygreatblog.com. You’ll see the result.

Yeah, i have the proof here….Me and Pareng Val went to the advance screening of “Twilight” at the PowerPlant Mall(Rockwell) last tuesday, Nov. 25/2008. Although we had already read the books, actually ALL the books of it. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Yeah….all of it, but i think i like the most is the book Breaking Down, where Edward and Bella Swan have a son, which is powerful than the Ancient(they are the royal vampires). Nah….you have to read the other book first before this one…..he he he. Also Bella is already a vampire to the last book. There is still much story and happening from the other books. Like in New Moon, Victoria want a revenge from her husbands death(James). And also, Jacob Black is a werewolf. Nah nah….you have to read it….this is only a teaser.
